I don't think Burga is going to solve anything, either by staying or leaving; we need to disqualify ourselves from world competition, which includes qualifiers for World Cup 2010, in order to preserve what little pride we feel as a soccer nation. That pride, fueled by vivid memories of what -- who! -- we once were as a football nation, is what motivates our indignation at the joke we now field, except the joke is on us.

Let us remove ourselves from the world stage, let us suffer the humiliation of watching from the sidelines, until it spurs us to create and implement the proper system for producing the kind of talent and success we're used to as Peruvians.

Worse than losing to Venezuela, Ecuador, and Mexico, is watching Peru being disgraced by the brand of football which it is, understandably, now associated with.

You are so right...It's time for a change...We need to get back to competing with the best...Peru has aways been known for their ball control and great individual play...Now we are known as the worst team in south america, someone needs to take responsibility...
Thanks joemenen
